Job summary

Heartland Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients in home settings or hospice facilities. The role requires CPR and a state CNA license, plus at least six months of hands-on patient care experience.

Qualifications

  • Active CNA license in the state of employment (Required).
  • Current CPR certification (Required).
  • Driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance (Required).
  • Six (6) months of direct patient care experience (Required).
  • Experience in home health, hospice, palliative care, or oncology preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

About You
Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:

Preferred Background (Not Required)
  • Experience in home health, hospice, palliative care, or oncology
  • Prior roles in hospital nursing, ICU, geriatrics, med-surg, ER, telemetry, or nursing homes
  • Exposure to end-of-life care, wound care, or admissions support
