As a Hospice Aide/CNA, You Will

• Report to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager, under supervision of RN or Clinical Supervisor
• Help maintain good personal hygiene for patients
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment
• Prepare and serve light meals and assist with feeding
• Assist with ambulation and safe use of mobility aids
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Assist with treatments as ordered and allowed by state regulations
• Promote mental alertness and provide emotional support
• Report changes in patient condition or home situation
• Demonstrate care techniques to primary caregivers
• Follow infection control procedures
• Accurately document visits and participate in meetings and quality activities

About You - Requirements

• Compassionate, kind, and empathetic
• Comfortable providing care in a patient's home
• Flexible and composed in crisis situations
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• Six months of relevant patient care experience preferred
• Current driver's license and insurance
• CPR certification
