As a Hospice Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant, you will:

  • Report to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager, and work under the supervision of registered nurses and/or clinical supervisors
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and light housekeeping
  • Support patients with treatments as ordered and promote mental alertness and emotional well-being
  • Ensure safety and infection control measures are followed
  • Document visits accurately and participate in quality improvement activities
About You

Requirements for Hospice Aide / CNA:

  • Compassionate, kind, and empathetic attitude towards patients and families
  • Comfortable providing care in patients' homes
  • Flexible and composed in crisis situations
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • Six months of relevant patient care experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance, CPR certification
