Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide/CNA to provide in-home care and support to patients and families in Kansas. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and documentation, while delivering emotional support and maintaining safety protocols.

The ideal candidate holds an active CNA license in the state, CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and at least 6 months of direct patient care experience.

Qualifications

  • Active CNA license in the state of employment (Required)
  • Current CPR certification (Required)
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance (Required)
  • Six (6) months of direct patient care experience (Required)
  • Comfortable working in home settings, hospice facilities, or long-term care environments
  • Demonstrated compassion, patience, and ability to handle emotional situations
  • Willingness to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients

Essential Functions

About You

  • Exposure to end-of-life care, wound care, or admissions support
