Job summary

Gentiva is seeking a dependable Hospice Aide/CNA to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, or inpatient units. You will support daily living activities and comfort during life’s meaningful moments.

The role requires an active CNA license, CPR, reliable transportation, and at least 6 months of direct patient care. You’ll work with a dedicated hospice team, maintain patient safety, and document visits accurately to ensure quality of life for

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of employment (Required)
• Current CPR certification (Required)
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance (Required)
• Six (6) months of direct patient care experience (Required)
• Comfortable working in home settings, hospice facilities, or long-term care environments
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and ability to handle emotional situations
• Willingness to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs

Responsibilities
