Role Responsibilities: Hospice Aide / CNA
- Report directly to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager and function under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or Clinical Supervisor.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, safe ambulation, light housekeeping, and basic treatments as ordered.
- Help maintain a safe environment and promote mental alertness through engaging activities.
- Provide emotional support and communicate any changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary team.
- Document visits accurately and participate in quality improvement activities.
About You
Hospice Aide/CNA Requirements:
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic to patients and families.
- Comfortable providing care in a home setting.
- Flexible and composed in crisis situations.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Six (6) months of patient care experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and current CPR certification.
