Role Responsibilities: Hospice Aide / CNA
  • Report directly to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager and function under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or Clinical Supervisor.
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene, safe ambulation, light housekeeping, and basic treatments as ordered.
  • Help maintain a safe environment and promote mental alertness through engaging activities.
  • Provide emotional support and communicate any changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Document visits accurately and participate in quality improvement activities.
About You

Hospice Aide/CNA Requirements:

  • Compassionate, kind, and empathetic to patients and families.
  • Comfortable providing care in a home setting.
  • Flexible and composed in crisis situations.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
  • Six (6) months of patient care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and current CPR certification.
