Responsibilities of a Hospice Aide / CNA

• Report to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager, working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Clinical Supervisors.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, meals, ambulation, and light housekeeping.
• Support patient safety, mental alertness, and emotional well-being.
• Document care and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Practice infection control and standard precautions.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, empathetic, and flexible
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• Six months of patient care experience preferred
• Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and CPR certification
