Job summary

Agape Hospice Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. The role involves delivering personal healthcare services to patients in their homes, ensuring safety and comfort, and working closely with families and the supervising RN.

Qualified candidates will have a state-approved CNA program or licensure, CNA license, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Preferred.
• Has completed state-approved Nurse Aide training/competency program or meets State Licensure requirements.
• Must have a current CNA license.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• At least one year of Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility (preferred).
• Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services to patients in their residence.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment and cooperate with family and supervisor.
• Work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

We are looking for a passionate Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our leading team of hospice care professionals and make a difference, by listening, caring, and serving.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma Preferred
• Has successfully completed Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry; or State Licensure program that meets requirements
• Must have CNA license
• Must have current driver's
• At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
• Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.
