Details

The Home Health Aide (HHA) works under the supervision of a Case Manager or Director of Nursing (DON) and is responsible for providing resident care according to assessments and care plans, as well as directives from nursing management. The HHA collaborates with licensed care staff to coordinate appropriate care and strictly adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications
  • A strong commitment to improving quality of life and partnering with community organizations in patient care
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and HHA leadership
  • Enthusiasm for obtaining higher certifications and further education opportunities
  • Ability to work closely with patients on a one-on-one basis while receiving support from the care team
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis
  • Willingness to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
  • Home Health Aide certification valid in the state(s) of practice
