Care- in Valparaiso, IN is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) for a 6-bed inpatient hospice center. Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions across multiple shifts are available; provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor patient condition, support families, and work with an interdisciplinary hospice team. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, paid training, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Maintain patient comfort and dignity at all times
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Assist with repositioning and transferring patients safely
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care areas
• Document care provided according to facility policies
• Support the interdisciplinary hospice team in delivering exceptional end-of-life care

Requirements

Qualifications

CNA Candidates

• Current Indiana CNA certification required
• Previous hospice, long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare experience preferred

HHA Candidates

• Current HHA certification or qualifying healthcare experience preferred
• Hospice, home health, or caregiving experience preferred
