Job summary

Guardian Angel Senior Services, Inc. is seeking a Hospice Caregiver (HHA/CNA) to provide compassionate, in-home hospice and home-care support in Middlesex, MA, with guaranteed 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday) and a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

You will assist with personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, and transportation, while supporting families during end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certification required.
• Compassionate caregiver with reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with consistent hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on hospice care in patients' homes.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal prep per dietary needs.
• Give medication reminders (pre-set) and assist with transportation.
• Support families during end-of-life care and respond to urgent situations.

What You'll Do

You'll be providing hands-on, compassionate care to hospice patients in their homes:

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene)


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Light housekeeping (laundry, linens, tidying up)


• Meal prep based on dietary needs


• Medication reminders (pre-set only)


• Transportation to appointments or errands


• Support families during sensitive end-of-life care


• Respond calmly and responsibly in urgent situations

What You Need

• Valid HHA or CNA certification


• Driver's license + reliable vehicle (this is a must)


• Clean driving record


• Ability to work independently and stay organized
