Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a Hospice Care Consultant (HCC) to lead strategic referral development, educate providers, and strengthen relationships with hospitals, clinics, and home health agencies across New Jersey. This role blends sales acumen with compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will engage clinicians, present hospice options, and drive awareness of Gentiva services while collaborating with clinical and operations teams to ensure timely and appropriate referrals and improved patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing.
• Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals.
• Prior hospice, palliative care, or home health experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
• Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets.
