Job summary

Compassus is hiring a Hospice Aide to provide comfort care to patients at home and support their families. You will work as part of a compassionate hospice team to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, helping patients toward their final days with dignity and joy.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; licensed or state-approved nurse aide training with 24 months of experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Hospice Aide Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred. In states where licensure is not required (AL, CT, GA, IA, IL, KS, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV), applicants must meet one of the following: They are already a licensed/certified aide; or They have completed a state‑approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months


• Current CPR certification required.
