Job summary

Community Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide to provide hands-on personal care to terminally ill patients across multiple sites in Florida. The role supports patient comfort, dignity, and safety per the plan of care, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with ambulation, reporting changes to a nurse, documenting accurately, and educating families. CNA credentials, CPR/BLS, and a valid FL driver’s license are required.

The role involves direct care tasks, assisting with mobility, and supporting family caregivers, with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and across different care sites as needed.

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Clearance for communicable diseases prior to patient contact.
• Reliable transportation and ability to shift work locations.
