Job summary

Compassus is seeking a part-time Hospice Aide in Kansas to provide compassionate home-based care for patients, helping them stay at home with their loved ones. You will join a dedicated hospice team delivering comfort, dignity and support across physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

The ideal candidate is a Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred) with a state-approved nurse aide training background, able to maintain CPR certification, and able to work in a collaborative, family-centered care

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• KS licensure not required if allowed; must meet one option.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care to hospice patients, enabling them to remain at home with loved ones.
• Work as part of the hospice team to meet each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed and coordinate with family members.
