Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. in Farmington, CT is seeking a Hospice Aide / CNA for a full-time position. You will provide compassionate care, assist with personal hygiene and mobility, and support comfort at end-of-life in home or facility settings.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with local travel across the Hartford area. Requirements include state CNA certification and CPR where applicable, plus reliable transportation and strong infection control practices.

Qualifications

• State-certified nurse aide with active certification and passing exam score as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or obtainable as part of onboarding where applicable.
• Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clean record and able to provide care in homes, nursing facilities, or hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on hospice care including personal hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Support patients in homes or facilities with daily living activities and end-of-life comfort.
• Maintain patient safety, dignity, and infection control throughout daily duties.
• Adapt to home or facility environments and coordinate with care teams.
