Compassus in Illinois is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate at-home care to patients, supporting comfort and dignity for those in their final days. You will work as part of a hospice team to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, helping families navigate care with empathy and respect.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
• In states where licensure is not required, applicants must meet one of the following: they are already a licensed/certified aide; or they have completed a state‑approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months.
• Current CPR certification required.

Hospice Aide Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred. In states where licensure is not required (AL, CT, GA, IA, IL, KS, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV), applicants must meet one of the following:

• They are already a licensed/certified aide; or
• They have completed a state‑approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months

Current CPR certification required.

State Specific Requirements

Wisconsin Aides required to be certified and listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.

$16.06 - $22.48 / hour
