Job summary

Compassus in Wisconsin is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, in-home care to patients and their families. You will join a dedicated hospice team, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while promoting comfort and dignity at the end of life.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to CNA requirements, and CPR certification to ensure high-quality care and support in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
• Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with loved ones.
• Work as a member of the hospice team to meet each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Help patients approach their final days with joy, peace, and dignity.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed.
• Support families and provide education and respite when possible.
