Job summary

Cherish Hospice Corp seeks an on-the-road STNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care to patients in their homes and facilities. You will follow an established plan of care, work under an RN, and help maintain comfort and safety during visits.

Travel up to 50% is required; a current STNA license and a valid driver’s license are required. Hospice and geriatrics experience are preferred. Mileage reimbursement and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Cherish Hospiceis seeking an on the roadSTNA Hospice Aide’s. As a hospice aide you can help enhance the quality of life for the patient by providing personal care and related assigned services to hospice patients directly.

STNA Hospice AideResponsibilities:

• Provide personal care according to the patient’s needs. Carry out the duties assigned to increase the patient’s level of comfort, and to maintain personal hygiene and a safe environment for the patient.

• Care provided is in accordance with an established plan of care and under the supervision of a RN

• Observe the patient, report observations and document observations and care performed.

• Document the care provided and the patient’s response to care in accordance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.

• Provide timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.

• Adhere to Company policies and procedures and regulatory compliance requirements and directives.

STNA Hospice AideRequirements include but are not limited to:

• Travel as necessary (up to 50% of the time) to service patients in their residence of care, which includes home, assisted living facilities, long term care facility, and hospital.

• STNA License (Required)

• Driver's License (Required)

• Hospice experience (Preferred)

• Geriatrics experience (Preferred)

• Hospice and Palliative Medicine (Preferred)
