Job summary

Vitality Hospice & Palliative Care in Burlington, NJ is seeking an experienced RN leader to join as Administrator/DCO (RN required).

You will oversee clinical services, direct IDT operations, ensure CMS/CHAP compliance, and drive quality patient care in a clinician-owned hospice organization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will mentor staff, manage documentation, and lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance end-of-life care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in New Jersey.
• 2+ years hospice/home health/palliative care experience.
• 1+ year clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of CMS/CHAP requirements and hospice regs.
• Experience with care planning, documentation, and IDT processes.
• Staff supervision and team leadership experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and family communication.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all clinical operations and patient care services within hospice programs.
• Lead IDT meetings to ensure effective care planning.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate RNs, LPNs, CHHAs, Social Workers, and other staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate CMS/CHAP/NJ regulatory documentation.
• Monitor Medicare CoPs and regulatory standards compliance.
• Collaborate to develop and implement clinical education and training programs.
• Conduct facility visits to strengthen partnerships and support patient care.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll, mileage reimbursement, and supply costs.
• Drive quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and service recovery.
