Job summary

The Moret Group is seeking an experienced hosiery designer to create and develop product lines for licensed characters. You will translate trend and color inspiration into market-ready socks, tights, and slipper socks for major licensors.

You will manage design submissions for licensors, coordinate with overseas factories, and maintain organized boards and files to support seasonal collections.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in designing hosiery or licensed character products.
• Developed a product line with overseas factories.
• Experience with licensor submissions and design approvals.

Responsibilities

• Research trend, graphics, and color inspirations.
• Design socks, tights and slipper socks for licensed brands.
• Prepare design concept submissions for licensors.
• Communicate with overseas factories.
• Keep sample boards, line sheet books and computer files organized.

• Designing socks, tights and slipper socks for Hello Kitty, Disney, Nickelodeon, Peanuts, Universal, Warner Bros., Nintendo, Sega, Coca Cola and much more
• Preparing design concept submissions for licensors
• Communicating with overseas factories
• Keeping sample boards, line sheet books and computer files organized
