Job summary

Teknor Apex is seeking a production team member at our Brownsville, TN plant to support hose manufacturing. You will work with a team to follow the production schedule, set up materials, operate cutting and expander equipment, and label and carton hose products for shipment.

This full-time role requires adherence to safety policies, accurate daily records, and the ability to train others as needed. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Must read and write at a basic level (high school equivalent).
• Maintain accurate daily production records and adhere to safety procedures.
• Identify quality problems and apply company productivity standards.
• Train employees on processes and procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check production schedule for finished hose and table assignment.
• Identify raw materials required for products at the finishing table.
• Set proper hose lengths using the Automatic Counter.
• Operate cutter and expander machines to assemble hoses and fittings.
• Label, carton, and prepare hose coils for shipment or belt conveyor.
• Fill cartons to designated quantities and slide onto the belt conveyor.
