Job summary

Teknor Apex is seeking a production operator at the Brownsville, TN plant to support hose manufacturing on a team-based shift. You will check production schedules, identify raw materials, operate cutting, expander, and winding equipment, apply fittings, label cartons, and prepare finished hoses for packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience working on a manufacturing line.
• Ability to perform quality checks and documentation.
• Ability to read work orders and labels.

• Comfort with standing for long periods and manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check production schedule to determine finished hose and table assignment.
• Identify proper raw materials required for the product at the finishing table by reviewing Batch Card.
• Check Automatic Counter for proper setting of hose lengths.
• Depress pedal on cutter machine to activate the hose run.
• Install fittings on expander machines, assemble hose and fittings, and run the expander.
• Label cartons, assemble, seal, and place hose coils onto belt conveyors.
