Job summary

Ladgov Corporation is hiring a Horticulture/Landscaping Instructor to train students in a secure correctional facility. You will deliver hands-on landscaping and plant propagation, teaching horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance, and employment-readiness skills.

You'll manage up to 25 students per class, develop lesson plans, track progress, and maintain a safe, professional learning environment, while meeting state curriculum standards and ensuring compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• State-approved horticulture/landscaping license or instructor certification.
• Relevant horticulture or landscaping experience.
• Strong teaching, communication, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and complete required 40-hour pre-service training.
