Job summary

Alaska Behavioral Health is seeking a Growth Coordinator to support hydroponic and outdoor growing operations in Anchorage. You will plant, harvest, package, and maintain spaces, while guiding Operations Associates and Apprentices and coordinating with the Service Coordinator to plan staffing and materials.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years coordinating groups, with a strong background in horticulture and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years coordinating and leading groups.
• Strong background in horticulture, greenhouse operations, or sustainable agriculture.
• Experience supervising staff or youth in a work-based or educational setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Adaptability to work in a changing environment with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily hydroponic greenhouse, and outdoor growing operations, including plant care, crop planning, harvesting, systems maintenance.
• Provide daily directions, training, and support to Operations Associates and Apprentices.
• Maintain safe, organized, and functional growing spaces, equipment, supplies, and activity stations.
• Work closely with the Service Coordinator to prepare growing spaces and plant-based activities for scheduled groups, field trips, volunteers, and other scheduled use of Seeds.
• Lead or support hands-on horticultural activities, tours, field trips, and other Seeds activities as needed.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager and Service Coordinator to support smooth day-to-day operations and program coverage.
