Job summary

Valley Tree Care, located in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Tree Care Team. This role offers paid training to learn tree care and the opportunity to manage your own truck. Ideal candidates will have prior sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to learn about plant health. You will be responsible for evaluating trees, selling treatments, and ensuring safe driving to various client locations. Competitive base salary + commission and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Valley Tree Care is looking to bring another great member onto our Tree Care Team. We are providing an incredible opportunity to receive paid training to learn the art of tree care in the Phoenix Valley. After training is completed you will be given the opportunity to run your own truck and earn base pay plus commission! About the position

Responsibilities

• Learn to follow all policies and procedure for the position
• Be able to show up consistently at 7 AM
• Drive safely to all residential and commercial stops scheduled for the day
• Evaluate trees for pest, disease, fungal, and cultural problems
• Sell our products and treatments by informing and advising the customers
• Keep work truck clean and organized
• Fill out paperwork and reports properly
• Effectively communicate with management so they are informed of what is happening in the field
• Continue to learn in order to improve your understanding of plant health as well as the products and services we provide

Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior sales experience
• Desire to learn to about plant health care industry
• Familiar with basic digital communication and online forms
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills will be required to work together with customers to help their trees
• Desire to learn. This position requires a constant willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic. The harder you work the more you will achieve, and the more opportunities will be available to you as you grow
• High levels of honesty and integrity
• Arizona drivers license and clean driving record. Your motor vehicle record will be reviewed to determine if you are a safe and responsible driver
