Job summary

Broadband Telecom Services, Inc. is a full-service telecommunications construction contractor with multiple Texas locations. The sub-contractor will perform underground telecom work and coordinate with teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities include conduit and fiber installation, manhole placements, and accurate as-built mapping. COI required; background, drug, and MVR checks will be performed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating HDD bore and trenching equipment.
• Understanding of conduit placement, fiber optic work and map reading.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and locating utilities (811).

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Sub-Contractor

JOB DESCRIPTION

The sub-contractor will perform tasks involving underground telecommunications work at various construction and service sites. Most important skill will be communicating with internal & external teams to make sure all projects are on time and within budget.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Own/Operate HDD Bore and Trenching heavy equipment – Rock Capable


• Own/Operate medium duty trenching equipment


• Own/Operate Excavator


• Understanding and Responsibility to call 811 for locates


• Inter-duct (Conduit) Placement, Wiring & Fiber Optic Installation


• Manhole/Hand hole placement


• Push and Pull COAX/Fiber cable


• Basic comprehension of as-built and map reading

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate of Insurance (COI) is required


• Must be able to pass background check, drug screening, and MVR report
