Job summary

Miller Pipeline, LLC seeks Directional Drill Operators and Locators to safely drill and pull pipe, with emphasis on effective communication and knowledge of underground utilities.

You will join a team focused on safety, quality, and customer service, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Travel within the area and on-site work at customer locations are expected.

Qualifications

• Prior directional drilling experience.
• Ability to travel around the area.
• Valid driver/operator license.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer’s operator qualifications.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate all directional drill equipment.
• Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.
• Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.
• Ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations for the safety of the crew and public.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.
• Interact with customers to explain the work procedures necessary at the worksite/residence.
• Complete project paperwork as required by the customer.
