Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior machining experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Experience with precision measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receives work assignment; reads process drawings and selects setup and tools.
• Sets up and operates Horizontal CNC Lathes and fixtures.
• Monitors speeds, feeds, and dimensions; edits programs as needed.
• Removes finished parts, deburrs and inspects.
• Monitors close-tolerance drilling, milling, turning, threading and other operations.
• Lubricates machine and maintains clean, safe work area.
• Supports maintenance and safe work practices.
