Job Description

As our Hopper Loader, you’re there to assist in the duties of a Paintmaker by supporting the filling lines to meet internal and external customer demand. You will operate equipment and set up materials in a safe, consistent, and efficient manner.

Daily Responsibilities

• Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Test samples of materials or products using test equipment to ensure compliance.
• Start machines to mix or blend ingredients and monitor the process.
• Operate blending equipment for various materials such as chemicals and pigments.
• Monitor production and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Stop machines when product quality is achieved and transfer mixtures as needed.
• Load chemicals and ingredients using hand tools or devices.
• Visually or manually inspect materials, ingredients, or products for quality standards.

Required Experience

• Ability to work safely following safety procedures.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience with raw materials and dispersion equipment is a plus.

Additional Details

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 12-hour overnight shift

Pay: Up to $20.90 per hour
