Job summary

Transcendia, Inc. in Richmond, Indiana, seeks a production operator to control resin and regrind from hoppers to blending equipment on sheet extrusion lines. The role requires working C Shift: Thu, Fri, Sat and alternating Sun, 6:45 AM–7:00 PM, with a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

You will maintain a safe, clean work area, perform data entry, ensure correct resin quantities, inspect products, and support quality documentation. This is a hands-on role in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 6–12 months of related experience.
• Must hold current lift truck certification.
• Must hold current aerial lift certification.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and warehouse.
• Follow safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify resins and/or regrind and enter data in company programs.
• Ensure resin/regrind quantities meet work orders and ISO requirements.
• Conduct visual inspections of products before use.
• Maintain quality control records and data collection procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be able to work C Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Every Other Sunday, 6:45AM to 7PM. This shift pays $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Job Duties:

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse
• Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, and maintains quality standards
• Responsible for but not limited to; resin identification, regrind identification, data entry in company specific programs and resin containment storage
• Ensures accurate resins and/or regrind quantities are added to meet customer standards as stated on the work order and/or ISO document
• Responsible for a visual inspection of product before it is used
• Responsible for Quality Standards but not limited to daily production log book, quality control documents or forms and data collection procedures.
• Communicates with supervisor or lead should there be any equipment malfunctions in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Maintain a current certification in lift truck operation
• Maintain a current certification in aerial lift operation
• Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
• Must possess good problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Must have basic computer skills
• Willingness to work as team member or independently
