Job summary

Martinrea is hiring for a Full Time Production Associate position in Hopkinsville, KY. You will assist the supervisor, communicate with the shift, and help meet production goals safely and efficiently on a fast-paced plant floor.

The role requires experience in automotive manufacturing, basic math skills, and proficiency in English. Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001:2015 is preferred, with opportunities for training and growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Team Leader experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Basic Math proficiency required.
• Read and write proficiently in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities and duties of the Production Associate position.
• Assists production supervisor with leading, directing, training, assigning and monitoring the activities of the shift.
• Ensures effective utilization of resources and people.
• Provides feedback to production supervision about production opportunities, problems or issues.
• Communicates with production supervision, employees and other departments to ensure work is completed according to schedule.
• Provides training to employees.
• Audits processes, procedures and documentation.
• Monitors the quality of products using measuring tools, gauges and fixtures.
• Participates in investigation, containment, disposition and documentation of non-conforming product.
• Maintains records and documentation.
