Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Boston, MA is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively, including trucks, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and related machinery. You will also perform daily safety and maintenance checks and keep equipment clean, maintained, and secured according to company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in equipment operating and maintenance.
• Must have experience with Hook Lifts.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if operating company provided vehicles).

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Ensure equipment is safely stored and secured.
• Report maintenance needs to Foreman.
• Participate in routine maintenance.
• Practice workplace safety.
• Maintain inventory.
