Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Airport Security Officer (Part Time) in Honolulu, HI. The role focuses on protecting travelers and airport staff through attentive security procedures and customer service at government transportation locations.

You will work a part-time schedule, with two weeks of paid in-person training before shifts begin. A valid driver’s license and English fluency are required, along with basic computer skills and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport stakeholders while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of airport areas to deter security incidents.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report incidents according to procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with airport personnel and responders as needed.
• Document patrols and incidents promptly using required reporting tools.
