Job summary

Staffmark Group currently seeks a Hone Grinding Operator in Rogers, AR to set up and run automated grinding equipment, ensuring quality parts and efficient production.

You will read blueprints, monitor the grind line, and perform routine maintenance while following safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. Prior machine operation and mechanical aptitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of machine operator experience in an industrial or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated grinding equipment to produce quality parts.
• Measure raw materials and perform in-process quality audits.
• Monitor grind line operations to ensure proper performance.
• Troubleshoot centerless grinders, robotic cells, and related equipment.
• Read blueprints and verify products meet specifications.
• Identify and report nonconforming materials and document production data.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and daily housekeeping.

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Hone Grinding Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
