Job summary

Jenkins & Wynne Honda in Clarksville, Tennessee, is seeking a dependable Vehicle Porter to join a busy dealership. This full-time, hourly position involves moving and parking vehicles, keeping inventory organized, and supporting both sales and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates are active, detail-oriented, and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions; prior dealership porter experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely (automatic and manual when applicable).
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist team members.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain physically active throughout the workday.
• Previous dealership or vehicle porter experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership property.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining vehicle inventory and parking areas.
• Transport vehicles between dealership departments and designated locations as needed.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance throughout the dealership lot.
• Assist with preparing vehicles for customer pickup and delivery.
• Support the sales and service departments with vehicle movement and other daily operational needs.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and handle customer vehicles with care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
