Job summary

Lithia Motors is seeking a Service Technician at Katy Honda in Katy, Texas. The role supports A, B & C level technicians and a Lube Technician, with a pay rate of $15–$40 per flat-rate hour. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Service department hours are weekdays and Saturdays; availability across shifts is required. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, testing, documenting work, and maintaining tools and work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ASE certifications when required.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
