White Birch Communities is seeking a kitchen helper to assist in planning and preparing meals for residents in a caring, low-stress environment, following dietary needs and recipes.

You will help keep the kitchen and dining area clean, participate in cooking and dishwashing, and support the kitchen supervisor and manager. Weekend work and some holidays are required.

A full benefits package includes health and dental insurance, paid vacation and holiday pay after one year, and a retirement plan.

Qualificações

• Cooking experience and the ability to follow a recipe are required.
• Applicants must be willing to work every other weekend and some holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and preparing all meals in conjunction with the kitchen supervisor and/or manager while following all the specific dietary needs of the current population at White Birch.
• Meals are an important part of an elderly person's day, not only for nutrition, but for quality of life. They shall be prepared while keeping these points in mind.
• Keeps kitchen and dining area clean and in compliance with all inspections.
• Cooking cleaning and dishwashing are apart of all kitchen positions.
