Job summary

Cumberland County School District is seeking a part-time kitchen team member to support daily food service for students and staff. The role involves handling multiple kitchen tasks, maintaining safety and quality standards, and delivering friendly service to visitors.

The position offers a school-year aligned schedule with approximately 5.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, plus potential summer work. Benefits include paid snow days, holidays, meals, and a uniform allowance.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of kitchen services as assigned; ensure food safety, food quality and excellent customer service for students, staff and visitors.
• Perform a variety of kitchen operations as assigned by the kitchen manager and/or assistant kitchen manager.

Job description

The job of kitchen team member was established for the purposes of providing all aspects of kitchen services as assigned; ensuring food safety, food quality and excellent customer service for students, staff and visitors; performing a variety of operations as assigned by the kitchen manager and/or assistant kitchen manager.

This is a part time position working aproximately 5.5 hours per day Monday - Friday. This position can be very rewarding but it has limited benefits.
