Job Summary:

The FOH manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant, as well as take on additional duties as assigned. This role has varying hours required ranging between 9:00am - 4:00am (Monday - Sunday). Additional hours as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in hiring and training staff
  2. Ensure guest satisfaction, resolve conflicts and complaints as they arise
  3. Contribute to the positive company culture and continue to cultivate regulars
  4. Communicate with HR and accounting regarding invoicing and payroll
  5. Double check all orders that come in
  6. Knowledge of the food menu and table numbers
  7. Collect payments whether in cash or credit
  8. Issue refunds and price adjustments
  9. Proficiency in Toast POS and OpenTable
  10. Strong communication and time management skills
  11. Customer satisfaction-oriented
  12. Manage menus in-house and through third-party delivery apps (i.e., Doordash, UberEats, Caviar, Postmates, and Grubhub)
  13. Manage and oversee scheduling, adjusting schedules on the fly when needed
  14. Handle disciplining and terminating employees in accordance with restaurant policy
  15. Perform daily health inspections and oversee food handling
  16. Conduct frequent quality control checks on food
  17. Ensure compliance with capacity and liquor regulations
  18. Manage liquor, beer, and wine inventory and work with BOH for purchases of food and supplies
  19. Manage swag inventory and communicate order needs with brand manager
  20. Conduct daily checks of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
  21. Schedule routine maintenance and service on equipment, calling in repairs as needed
  22. Take ownership of tasks and see them through from start to finish

Certifications/Experience:

  1. ServSafe Manager Certification required
  2. Basset Certification required
  3. Allergen certification required

Compensation Details:

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
