Job summary

HCI Sports & Fitness in Bee Cave, TX, is seeking an energetic Homeschool PE Coach to guide children ages 5-10 through fun fitness activities and enrichment programs. If you enjoy sports, movement, and positive coaching, this part-time role offers engaging daily interaction with students, families, and the HCI team.

You will follow the provided curriculum, keep activities safe and high-energy, and communicate professionally with parents.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 5-10, with an emphasis in recreation, physical education, and/or sports.
• Experience leading enrichment activities such as art, STEM, nature, and other hands-on learning experiences.
• Ability to motivate and inspire children of varying skill levels.
• Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
• Patience, positivity, and must enjoy working with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of children through physical fitness games, activities, and sports during Homeschool PE and enrichment programs.
• Follow curriculum plans to ensure programming meets developmental milestones for all participants.
• Ensure activities are high energy, safe, and create a positive experience for participants and parents.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of equipment and props.
• Maintain professional communication with participants, parents/guardians, and staff.
• Adhere to safety standards and provide appropriate supervision.
• Demonstrate good judgment and self-control in presence of children.

Come join the team at HCI Sports & Fitness! As a premier sports and fitness center located in Bee Cave, our team is in search of an energetic leader for our Homeschool PE Coach role. If you enjoy working with children and have a passion for sports, fitness, or just staying active, then this position is for you!

Requirements

What you'll do:

• Lead groups of children through various physical fitness games, activities, and sports during our Homeschool PE and enrichment programs
• Follow provided curriculum plans to ensure Homeschool PE & enrichment programming is meeting appropriate developmental milestones for all participants
• Ensure activities are high energy, fun, safe, and create a positive overall experience for participants and parents
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of equipment and props used during programming
• Maintain consistent, professional, and respectful communication with program participants, parents/guardians, and HCI staff
• Adhere to safety standards and rules while providing appropriate supervision for participants
• Demonstrate good judgment, alertness, and self-control in the presence of children and when performing assigned responsibilities
• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for physical activity among students

Scheduling Requirements

• Must be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the school year for Homeschool PE & enrichment programs. Shifts are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:30 am - 1:15 pm and Wednesdays from 11:30 am - 2:15 pm)
