Job summary

Right at Home Winston-Salem, NC is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support to elderly clients. You will perform light housekeeping, prepare meals, and offer companionship in clients' residences, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Daily tasks include monitoring clients, reporting concerns, running errands, and providing emotional support as health conditions require. No experience is necessary, and a training program is offered along with a signing bonus and flexible

Qualifications

• A passion for caring for the elderly.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have use of an insured automobile.
• Punctuality and dependability with scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, healthy, and clean environment; performs light housekeeping, meal preparation and companionship.
• Handles basic light housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, changing bed linens, laundry and organizing.
• Monitors clients, records and reports developments or concerns per agency policy.
• Handles errands for or with clients, such as grocery shopping and appointments.
• Provides emotional support for clients as they heal or cope with health conditions.
