Job Description:

HealthChoice Waiver Services is currently hiring Homemakers to provide essential in-home support for individuals receiving services through the 245D waiver program. As a Homemaker, you will help clients maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment—contributing directly to their independence and quality of life.

We are looking for dependable, caring, and detail-oriented individuals who are ready to make a difference in their communities.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, and organizing

Support meal preparation and grocery organization (no cooking required unless agreed upon)

Maintain a safe, sanitary, and comfortable home environment for clients

Report any concerns or changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor

Follow care plans and documentation guidelines provided by the agency

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old

Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Previous experience in homemaking, caregiving, or cleaning preferred (but not required)

Must pass a background study per DHS requirements

Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible Scheduling)

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience

Location: Client homes across [your service area – e.g., Twin Cities Metro]
