Job summary

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, in Van Wert, OH, is hiring Direct Support Professionals to join our compassionate care team. You will provide in-home support to help clients remain independent and safe in their own homes.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments. Flexible scheduling and paid training are offered to support your growth and success.

Qualifications

• Performs in-home personal care and daily living support to help clients stay independent.
• Assists with mobility, transfers, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Prepares meals and snacks following care plans; provides companionship.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, and positioning.
• Dresses, shaves, and helps with grooming as needed.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanies clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean home.

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
