Job Details: Location: Daytona Beach, FL 32114 | Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00

Summary

The Homemaker is a paraprofessional member of the In‑Home Services team who works under the supervision of the RN Clinical Supervisor & Administrator. The Homemaker is responsible for performing various household services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Organizational Relationships

Responsible to the RN Clinical Supervisor & Administrator and has a support responsibility to other departments as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain the home in an optimum state of cleanliness and safety depending on the client’s and the caregiver’s resources.
  • Perform general homemaking functions including general cleaning, preparation of meals, laundry, and shopping.
  • Report any incidents or problems to the appropriate Case Manager.
  • Report any incidents or changes in the client’s behavior to the appropriate Case Manager.
  • Maintain all required paperwork, including service sheets, with clarity and accuracy; submit them on a timely basis.
  • Attend all required meetings, seminars, and workshops that may enhance job performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and other standards.
Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent required; one year of related experience. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license, reliable means of transportation, and adequate vehicle insurance as prescribed by Florida law.

Current Certifications and Screening
  • Current CPR training is required.
  • Level II fingerprint background check, drug screen, and TB screening are also required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Frequent need to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, talk and hear.
  • Required to travel to clients’ homes and other sites.
