Job summary

KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Homemaker/Caregiver to support clients at home with daily living activities according to a written care plan.

You will provide companionship, meal planning, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments while following supervision and scheduling from the care team. A High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of home care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• One year of experience providing personal care.
• One year of experience in a home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Planning and preparing meals according to specific dietary requirements of the client.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment through housekeeping assistance.
• Providing companionship and stimulation for the client including reading, walks, etc.; and accompanying the client to appointments.
• Grocery shopping or other errands when needed.
• Performing other housekeeping tasks as indicated in the care plan.
• Participating in In-Service Education programs as assigned by the agency.
• Assisting the client with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
