Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience or comparable experience in a relevant role
• Flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Rigorous attention to detail and technical editing ability
• Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to prepare accurate notes, summaries, trackers, and professionally formatted documents for leadership review
• Strong proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable DHS Fitness Determination and access to required unclassified Government information and facilities
• Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
• Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
• Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locations
• Clearance: U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship). Currently holds a Public Trust level clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a position of trust/Federal security clearance
• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Critical Skills: Technical writing, editing, research, detail-oriented, strong work ethic, collaborative mind-set, excellent problem-solving skills, communications, and interest in working in a consulting firm. Interest in working on assignments outside of one project is strongly desired

Responsibilities

• Provide technical writing and editing support on quick-turn reports, summaries, and analytical products on a weekly basis, complying with DHS style guides and 508 compliance
• Create, update, and maintain templates with appropriate formatting
• Coordinate across the team on emerging activities and events requiring rapid development of products
• Support large virtual and in-person meetings with strong writing to capture key decisions, intent, and actions
• Research and write on topics covering critical infrastructure sectors in support of ongoing initiatives and as requested
• Communicate and coordinate with team members promptly to tailor messaging and perform quality checks for accuracy and completeness
• Take on new responsibilities and learn the mission/business while maintaining an excellent attention to detail, finding ways to exceed client expectations
• Contribute to company service areas beyond just the project to build new skills and help the company grow by developing our capabilities and selling new business
• Contribute to our company culture, which promotes collaboration, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
