Job summary

Cadmus seeks candidates to support upcoming homeland security exercises programs for both public and private sector clients, partners, and stakeholders. Successful candidates will support the design, execution, and evaluation of homeland security exercise programs covering a range of hazards, including terrorism, cybersecurity, and natural disasters.

Please note this position is for a proposal effort, and offers will be contingent upon award.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in exercise planning, emergency management, homeland security, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Working knowledge of HSEEP principles, processes, terminology, and documentation.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage assignments independently and produce client-ready deliverables.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
  • U.S. citizen with ability to earn a favorable Public Trust clearance or DHS clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning, design, conduct, and evaluation of HSEEP exercises.
  • Lead exercise planning workstreams and coordinate with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Develop objectives, scenarios, planning materials, and after-action reports.
  • Support planning meetings and discussions involving government and private-sector partners.
  • Conduct research and analysis on homeland security, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure risks.
  • Translate technical or policy information into clear exercise materials and briefings.
  • Coordinate logistics, communications, document reviews, and action-item tracking.
  • Analyze evaluator observations to identify findings and improvement actions.
  • Review products for accuracy and compliance with requirements.
