Qualifications

• Must possess a current Florida LPN license.
• Must have current BLS CPR certification (in-person).
• Experience with G-tube, trach, and vent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Provide treatments including nutrition via feeding tube.
• Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning.

  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Current, active Florida LPN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
