Qualifications

• Current, active Florida LPN license required.
• BLS CPR card must be obtained in-person.
• Experience with G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication as per physician orders.
• Perform treatments including tracheostomy and ventilation care.
• Conduct seizure assessments and treatments.

About the Role

* Urgent need for a nurse for a 15 year old male in Keystone Heights -gtube, seizures and hip dysplasia. Day, nightand weekend shifts available immediately. *

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Medication administration per physician orders
• Physician ordered treatments for:
  • Nutrition via a feeding tube
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal
  • Ventilation care
  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Current, active Florida LPN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
